KISSING BRIDGE CHARDONNAY 2006
South Eastern Australia
Kissing Bridge is one of our favorite new chardonnay values! Made from a blend of grapes from the cooler regions of
southeast Australia, it is the epitome of balance and finesse, showing a lovely marriage of lush melon and ripe peach
flavors with aromatic notes of oak and vanilla with a refreshing touch of crispness. It is this harmony of fruit, oak, and
crispness that makes it such a wonderfully versatile wine. It makes a great sipping wine, to be enjoyed with appetizers or
creamy cheeses, but it also stands up beautifully to flavorful fish or seafood dishes like crabcakes with beurre blanc.

Bodega Renacer Punto Final Malbec Clasico
Mendoza, Argentina
Malbec is one of the hottest red varietals going right now, and no other grape delivers more character & richness at a
deliciously affordable price! Out of the scores of malbecs that we have enjoyed, our favorite is the powerfully lush
Punto Final Clasico. The grapes are sourced from two fifty year old vineyards up in the foothills of the Andes
Mountains, and the wine is aged for 8 months in small French oak barrels. The result is a stunningly balanced, youthful,
fleshy red wine with vibrant blackberry and raspberry fruit and subtle fragrances of anise and black pepper. Its plump
smooth texture makes it a great choice with rich or spicy meat dishes. Try it with steak au poivre with cognac mustard
sauce.

This wine comes from the picturesque hills of the Marche region, west of the city of Ancona, On Italy’s north central
Adriatic coast. It is made from the verdicchio grape which is quickly becoming Italy’s most noble white varietal. It is a
wonderfully crisp, flavorful, and dry white wine, with a bright pale greenish tinge showing hints of fresh herb and

Alaia 2004
Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Y Leon, Spain
If you’re looking for great value red wines today, Spain offers some of the best quality affordable red wine in the world!
Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of Spanish wines is the great wealth of unique local indigenous grape varieties that
provide a delightful break from the ubiquitous cabernet & merlot that so dominate the scene here in America. One of
the best Spanish reds we’ve found lately is the Alaia from the remote region of Castilla Y Leon in the northwest. It is an
enticingly sumptuous red wine made from 2 local grapes, prieto picudo and the more well-known tempranillo. It is
loaded with plump cherry and plum flavors, offering a seductive rich mouthfeel, subtle chocolatey spice notes and nicely
integrated supple tannins. It’s a perfect choice with braised meat dishes like lamb osso bucco.
