Warning Sign Imperial Bock Beer Rockyard Brewing Co.
Castle Rock, Colorado
A Silver Medal Winner in the German-style Strong Bock Category at the ‘07 Great American Beer Festival, this is a Bock
beer on steroids! At 10.1%abv., it is a profoundly malty, yet superbly balanced brew with a livelier cleaner finish than
most high test strong lagers. It’s a great choice with spicy meat dishes or serve it in a large snifter for the perfect after
dinner beer.
Bottle price $19.99 (22oz bottle)
Cantillon Iris
Brussels, Belgium
This is our hands down all-time favorite lambic! Unique among the lambics because it is 100% barley, it is an assertively
dry style with tart fruity flavors. Another rare attribute of the Iris is its lively floral hops notes which come from the use
of fresh Hallertau hops in the recipe (most lambics use aged hops & therefore have no hoppy flavors). If you’re a
passionate fan of lambic, you owe it to yourself to try this World Classic!
Bottle price $19.99 (22oz bottle)
Twisted Pine Billy’s Chilies Beer
Boulder, Colorado
This very small microbrewery is one of our favorites in Colorado, and their Billy’s Chilies is one of the most innovative
& intriguing brews we’ve seen in a long time! The base beer is a blond colored malt-accented ale, to which the brewer
adds 5 different kinds of seeded chile peppers. The chilies, which are added to the beer in the secondary fermenter,
spend a couple of days soaking in the beer. The result is an ale with intense fresh chile aromas, yet with a superb sense
of balance on the palate. The beer has a nice subtle chile flavor that is perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the malt,
without being at all hot or bitter. Try it with your favorite Mexican dish or chile con carne recipe!
Bottle price $4.19 (22oz bottle)
DeProef K-O Blond Beer
Lochristi, Belgium
This is deceptively strong blond-colored ale from Belgium packs quite a punch for the unsuspecting drinker. From its
golden blond color and keen balance of malt & hops one might thinks it’s going to be a rather mellow beer, but the first
sip reveals that its subtlety is only an illusion. This is a very full-bodied beer with a wonderfully creamy texture, profoundly
rich malt flavors highlighted by very lively hops & dramatic citrusey spice aromas. You’ll be tempted to drink
the whole bottle by yourself, but you’ll need to share it with friends to avoid the K-O punch!
Bottle price $11.29 (25oz bottle)
